Mahindra’s total auto sales in the month of June 2022 stood at 54,096 vehicles. In the passenger vehicle segment (which includes UVs, cars and vans), Mahindra sold 26,880 vehicles in June 2022.
Talking about the commercial vehicles segment, the company sold 20,431 vehicles last month. Further, Mahindra says that all light commercial vehicle segments of 3.5T and heavy commercial vehicles continued their growth trajectory in June 2022.
The June 2022 exports witnessed a growth of 7% with 2,777 vehicles as compared to 2,607 units sold in the same period last year.

“Q1FY23 is our second largest SUV sales quarter in a row. This has been possible due to the continued strong demand from all our brands including XUV700, Thar, Bolero and XUV300. We sold 26620 SUVs and a total of 54096 vehicles in June, registering a growth of 64%. The XUV700 achieved another milestone of being conferred with the prestigious Global NCAP ‘Safer Choice’ award for being the safest car in India,” says Vijay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.
Further, he added, “This honor is available only to automakers who have achieved the highest level of protection for vehicles sold in India. We had a blockbuster launch of the Scorpio-N and it generated tremendous buzz and anticipation. of it.”

Mahindra recently launched its much-awaited Scorpio-N SUV at a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.5 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The brand has announced the price of the manual variant, while the prices of the automatic and 4X4 variants will be announced on July 21. This is an introductory price range applicable only for initial 25,000 bookings.
