1. The State Vokkaligar Sangh is organizing a program to mark the 513th birth anniversary of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the founder of Bengaluru, at its premises at KR Road from 10.30 am today. The program will be inaugurated by former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. Former Chief Ministers SM Krishna, HD Kumaraswamy and DV Sadananda Gowda and various political leaders will participate in the event.
2. Bengaluru Urban District Kannada Sahitya Parishad and Government Arts College, Bengaluru are jointly organizing the birth anniversary celebrations of Kempegowda and will also organize a seminar. The program will be held at the college campus near KR circle from 11 am onwards.
