Chilli pickle tastes delicious in winter
Chef Kunal Kapoor shared these tips if you are making chili pickle,
1) The first thing you should keep in mind while making any pickle. When you use pickles its main ingredient should be extremely dry. Drain the water thoroughly before use. Kunal said that water plays the role of enemy for pickles.
2) Always remember that the flavor inside the pickle takes time to dissolve. It is a combination of different ingredients that takes time to mix properly. So if you make pickle now, you can consume it after 6-7 hours.
for 3 chili pickle, Remember this is pickle, not chili curry. That’s why I turn off the heat before adding chillies to the preparation. This is to ensure that the chilies soften in the remaining heat and release their flavor.
4) After a few days you will see that the level of pickle is decreasing. This is because the chilies are softening and releasing the flavor (water) more slowly.

Earlier, Kunal Kapoor shared a video in which he talked winter favorite”jaggery rice, While making it, you must have noticed that all the water of the rice has been lost or it has become sticky. Well one way to fix this is to add lukewarm water to the rice and cook it for 5-7 minutes. He further added that once you put the rice in the dish, don’t use it to stir the spoon.
