Malaika Arora has been inspiring her fans, right from the first lockdown in 2020, with ideas to make the best use of time while at home. In an effort to uplift communities, the model and dancer found creative ways to connect with their online family. The devout fitness enthusiast also posted videos of herself cooking together, not letting the quarantine hamper her workout discipline. The television personality started sharing simple asanas with her followers in free digital sessions, making yoga accessible.
Through her latest videos, Malaika shows her fans some yoga poses to help them start their wellness journey. Malaika asked on Instagram, “Don’t we all look for natural ways to get healthy and glowing skin. Dressed in a classic all-black casual outfit, the diva decided to pull her hair back into a neat ponytail. Elaborating on her favorite asanas, which she calls “Malaika’s Move of the Week”, the diva reveals that it will treat the skin with love.
There are three facial exercises shared by Malaika:
Balloon Pose: According to yoga enthusiasts, this is the go-to pose for the facial muscles. Balloon pose helps in blood circulation.
Face Tapping Pose: Tapping prevents aging and wrinkles. Giving the skin a radiant, natural glow, this pose stimulates blood circulation.
Fish Pose: This stretches the neck area, contributes to toning the jaw and chin.
Earlier this month, Malaika showed off some important asanas that focus on the core muscles. He recommends Vasisthasana (Side Plank Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and Naukasana (Boat Pose) to help fuel your weight loss journey. “The core muscles are the part of the body that balances everything, whether it’s inversions, lifting weights or keeping your back straight,” she explained.
