The Chengmanad police on Saturday arrested a man on charges of illegal collection of money in violation of his bail conditions.
The arrested has been identified as 29-year-old Venu Vikraman, a resident of Nedumbassery. He is accused of threatening the laborers and demanding money from the owner by entering the park selling construction materials along with two other accomplices. They also allegedly threatened to kill the owner if he refused to pay the money or informed the police.
The arrested is the main accused in the murder of a man in Athani in 2019. He was granted bail on the condition that he would not enter the district limits and should not indulge in any criminal act.
According to the police, he was an accused in 21 cases and was arrested twice and deported once under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act. He was nabbed from a hotel in Munambam.

Perumbavoor Police has arrested two persons for stealing mobile phones worth Rs 2 lakh.
Those arrested have been identified as Najibul Biswas, 29, and Sargan Islam, 32, from West Bengal. Police said they had allegedly stolen a mobile phone from a shop in Marampally in the early hours of June 1. Najibul Biswas has earlier been jailed in the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) case.

Puthencruz police have arrested a man for selling acid stolen from a tanker lorry.
The arrested has been identified as 35-year-old Harris, a resident of Aluva. The incident happened last November. The acid was stolen from a consignment sent to a company. He had stolen the acid and replaced it with water.
Police said that he used to steal acid from the roadside lorry and later sold it. He went into hiding after the incident and was eventually picked up from Mamala.
