Man brutally beaten up by a group of men in Yamunanagar village. Chandigarh News – Times of India

Yamunanagar: One person was injured after he was brutally thrashed with iron rods and sharp weapons by a group of men in the city. Sultanpur Village in Sadhaura area of Yamunanagar District on Sunday.
The injured has been identified as Kamaljito Singh (27) of village Sultanpur has suffered serious injuries to his face, hands and legs and is presently undergoing treatment at the civil hospital in Yamunanagar district.
According to the medico-legal report, Kamaljeet has suffered a total of 15 serious injuries.
Some videos of this dastardly attack on Kamaljeet went viral on social media and a group of men can be seen abusing him and attacking him with lethal weapons.
On Kamaljeet’s complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 148 (rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (causing grievous hurt), 307 (attempt to murder), 452 (trespass) . and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (Indian Penal Code) at Sadhaura police station on Sunday.
Kamaljeet told the police that about 10 days ago he had a dispute over the phone with Ricky of Kanipla village over money dispute over some issue. He stated that Ricky kept the rivalry of the dispute due to a monetary dispute and planned to attack him.
He said he was at his home on Sunday when he got a call from Ishaq Khan of Khandara village, who called me to a dairy in his village. He said that he had gone to a shop of Jarnail Singh near the dairy.
“Around 11 in the morning, about 10 men came in two cars, armed with sticks, swords, iron pipes and sharp weapons. Ricky was holding a sword in his hand and seeing him, I tried to run away from the shop. But they tried to run away from the shop. They entered the shop and attacked me. They attacked my feet with swords and in an attempt to kill me, they kept beating me mercilessly. They also attacked me in the head and I shouted for help. When people started gathering, The accused men fled in their cars threatening to kill me”, Kamaljeet said.
Kamaljeet said, “The cars they came in included a black colored Thar number HR01AB0071 and a silver colored Ritz whose number could not be noted.”
Kamaljeet was taken by his relatives to the Civil Hospital in Sadhaura for treatment.
Sadhaura Police Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Satish Kumar said, “The injured Kamaljeet has suffered serious injuries including fracture in hand and leg. We have registered a case against one identified accused and by our teams to nab the accused persons. Raids are on.”
