Man gifts mom veggie scale, she uses it to cross-check veggie vendors

Gift giving can be a tricky business. We often think what to gift our near and dear ones on various occasions. Sometimes, we may think that a gift may be helpful but the recipient may think otherwise. And it really leads to some hilarious situations! Recently a Twitter user shared a funny incident when he had gifted a digital weighing scale to his mother. The tweet was shared by user Abhishek Bansal who goes by the handle @swaaha_. “Before WFH ended, I bought my mom a small digital weighing scale to measure portions in order to track calories accurately,” he explained. However, Bansal’s mom found another creative and hilarious alternative use for it weighing scale, He shared on Twitter, “After six months I came home and found that she is using it to re-weigh the vegetables she buys and creates a ruckus if it is even 10 grams less.”

Hilarious and relatable posts about digital weighing scales struck a chord with Indian users on Twitter. Many of them revealed that they had faced many similar situations in their homes as well.
