In a horrific incident, a 40-year-old man was left to die in the sun by his 70-year-old father with arms and legs tied. The man breathed his last after being exposed to intense heat wave conditions.
The incident happened on Sunday from Sanmasinbilla village of Ghatgaon block of Keonjhar district, rich in natural resources.
The deceased has been identified as Sumant Nayak, son of nefarious father Panua Nayak.
As per reports, Sumant had a dispute with his wife and mother; He beat them too. Later, he went to his father’s shop in the village and had an argument with him too, after which his father Panua got angry and wanted to teach a lesson to his son, who was once again a criminal.
On Sunday, Panua tied the hands and feet of his son Sumant and left him outside in the sun at around 2 pm as a punishment for his arbitrariness in the scorching sun.
Speaking to India Today, Ghatgaon police station sub-inspector Tapan Jena said, “Investigation is on, the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, we are awaiting the medical report before taking any action against the father of the deceased.” are doing, because he is an elderly person.”

Dr Dhar said, “One can die due to organ failure, as well as if the person has a history of any heart problem, then it becomes difficult for the person to survive.”
