Manoj Bajpayee’s father hospitalized in Delhi
Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee’s father has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi. According to the report of ANI, the condition of Manoj’s father is very critical. After learning about his father’s ill health, Manoj, who was shooting for a project in Kerala, immediately left for the national capital to be with his family during such difficult times. Manoj has not yet given any update about his father’s health.
In a recent interview with ANI, Manoj had told how his father inspired him to complete his studies before pursuing his passion for acting. “I came to Delhi from my village in Bihar at the age of 18. I joined Delhi University. It was my father’s dream to complete my graduation. He didn’t want me to drop out.. so I really wanted to be with him. Wanted to fulfill the dream and somehow managed. To complete the course and get a degree,” he had shared.
On the professional front, Manoj Bajpayee recently won an award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2021 for his role in the web series ‘The Family Man 2’. He said, “It’s a big win not just for me but for me. The team of ‘The Family Man’, be it a film or a web series, it’s the teamwork that counts. Yes, my character Shrikant Tiwari is loved by everyone. Loved it and it is now one of the top shows in the world. So, I am glad that the web series worked, it has got love globally! It’s fantastic.”
Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, ‘The Family Man 2’ won two awards at the film festival – the other to Samantha Akkineni. The cast of the series also includes Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantri, Sharad Kelkar, Seema Biswas and child actors Ashlesha Thakur and Vedant Sinha.
