Unique concept has conquered the internet
A breakup is an intense and painful experience, which can lead to feelings of guilt, resentment, anger, and regret. It hurts especially a lot when one partner cheats on the other. People going through a breakup want something that can make them feel better. With this thought, a man came up with a financial idea to insure his broken heart, which has caught the attention of the Internet.
Twitter user Prateek Aryan shared how he and his girlfriend deposited Rs 500 monthly in a joint account. His idea was to create a “Heartbreak Insurance Fund”, and the deal was that whoever got duped would get all the money. Unfortunately, his girlfriend cheated on him after four years and two months. Though this cannot be a consolation to his broken heart, he gets Rs 25,000 as per their mutual deal.
He wrote, ‘I got Rs 25000 because my girlfriend cheated on me. When our relationship started we deposited Rs 500 every month in a joint account during the relationship and made a policy that whoever gets cheated will take all the money. That is Heartbreak Insurance Fund (HIF).

A third wrote, ‘I don’t know how you feel. If you are happy then congratulations. Or sorry if you feel bad about being cheated.” A fourth said, “That’s the weirdest thing I’ve read.
