Hyderabad: The state promoted many IAS and IPS officers.
While the 1997 batch ias officer Shailaja Ramaiar, Ahmed Nadeem, N Sridhar, M Veerbrahmaiya have been promoted to the Principal Secretary cadre, IPS officers of the same batch – Vijay Kumar, Y Nagi Reddy, Devendra Singh Chauhan, Sanjay Kumar Jain have been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General .
Vijay Kumar was asked to report to the DGP. Other officers will be in the existing posts.
2004 batch IPS officers Tarun Joshi, V Shivakumar, VB Kamalasan Reddy, S Chandrasekhar Reddy, AR Srinivas have been made Inspector General of Police. Kalamalasan Reddy was asked to report to the DGP. IAS officers – Sarfaraz Ahmed, N Satyanarayana, S Arvinder Singh, M Prashanti – were promoted to select grade scales and asked to hold current positions. Amber Kishor Jha and Rama Rajeshwari were promoted to the Selection Grade (Level 13), while Tafseer Iqbal was promoted to DIG. 2013 batch IAS officers – K Shashank, Shruti Ojha, CH Shivalingaiah, V Venkateshwarlu, M Hanumantha Rao, D Amoy Kumar, K Haimavati, M Haritha – were promoted to the Junior Administration Grade Scale.
