Keeping this in mind, the company recently launched the Maruti Suzuki S-Assist platform, which is an AI-based 24×7 virtual assistant that is scan and voice enabled and provides a great post-purchase experience by implementing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The end-to-end digital solutions app was developed by Xane.AI, a start-up under Maruti’s Mobility and Automotive Innovation Lab (MAIL) initiative, which encourages innovation through collaboration with startups . It is one of the 13 projects on which the company is helping budding start-ups to incubate and launch their ideas.

The S-Assist platform will have do-it-yourself (DIY) videos, digital literature on basic car maintenance, workshop assistance, digital copy of owner’s manual, photo search and access to over 4,120 Maruti Suzuki workshops across India. Currently, the S-Assist platform is available only for Nexa customers, but Maruti said that it will consider launching it for Arena models and Arena customers as well in the near future. Maruti Suzuki Nexa customers will be able to access the S-Assist through the ‘Maruti Suzuki Rewards’ mobile app, which is available on both iOS and Android devices. S-Assist is available free of cost to Maruti Suzuki Nexa customers.
