While the overall silhouette of the car remains unchanged, Maruti Suzuki has made some changes to make the car more modern. Up front, the 2022 XL6 gets a new radiator grille with chrome trim that runs horizontally and seamlessly along with the LED headlamps. The grille is now surrounded by chrome garnishing, which gives it a premium touch.

At the rear, the car gets smoke finished 3D LED tail lamps, a shark fin antenna and a new rear spoiler. Apart from this, the XL6 facelift also gets all-new machine-crafted 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, which are a size larger than the pre-facelift model. The MPV is being offered with six single-tone color options and three dual-tone options.

On the feature front, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 gets a new 7-inch Smart Play Pro infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, onboard voice assistant, Suzuki Connect connected-car tech, smartwatch connectivity, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters (AT only). Powering the 2022 XL6 is Maruti Suzuki’s new 1.5-litre four-cylinder NA petrol engine that makes 103 PS of maximum power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque (down from 105 PS and 138 Nm). Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox, as well as a new 6-speed torque converter automatic that replaces the 4-speed AT that was earlier offered with the MPV.
