While the PWD has orally informed that the department has not constructed the shed and the corporation needs to find out whether it was built in the past by using funds of any MLA or MP. The civic body is now waiting for the site inspection report from the engineering wing to take a decision.
Meanwhile, residents have repainted the shed and added a note saying ‘Waiting Shed Only’.
“We’ve seen the way they’ve modified the place without really doing anything significant,” says sandra a, one of the protesters on the issue. The bus shed had become a topic of discussion after some CET students sat on each other’s laps and posted pictures on social media as a form of protest.
