As soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut, he also went to the gym and gave the message of ‘Fit India’. The estimated cost of the Khel University project is Rs 700 crore. The university will be equipped with state-of-the-art sports infrastructure and will have the capacity to train over 1000 players.
