In Ghazipur, on 29 November 2005, a total of 7 people, including BJP MLA from Mohammadabad Krishnanand Rai, were forced out of the market. The murder was carried out due to electoral enmity. Mukhtar Ansari and Afzal had an incident in this massacre. In fact, in 2002, Krishnanand Rai won by defeating Afzal Ansari on the Mohammadabad assembly seat dominated by the Ansari brothers. The reason for this was his murder.
