MG, Asian Paints launch tech to cut CO2 emissions by 1500 tonnes per year

MG announced that it has recently become the first auto brand in the world to use a liquid alkaline degreasing cleaner developed by PPG Asian Paints called ULTRAX Degreaser. MG Motor India and PPG Asian Paints have launched a technology to reduce their CO2 emissions by 1500 tonnes per year. MG announced that it has recently become the first automotive brand in the world to use ULTRAX Degreaser, a liquid alkaline degreasing cleaner developed by PPG Asian Paints. MG says the reduced pre-treatment chemicals enable the automotive manufacturer to reduce its CO2 emissions by up to 787 tonnes per year. MG also conserves energy through Low-Temperature Phosphate (VERSABOND) which helps reduce CO2 emissions by 325 tonnes per year, and High Throw Low Cured Cathodic Electro Coating Paint which helps reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 388 tonnes. enables.
