MG Motor India recently announced an association with RV college of engineering, Bangalore. The brand will introduce an EV training certification program under the MG Nurture initiative.
The MG-RVCE Nutrition Program on EVs is a specialized diploma program on EVs and advanced technologies (IoT, connected cars). The certification is a total of 5 months offline training course which includes 90 days internship at a nearby MG dealership.
The offline course will be conducted at the College’s Center of Excellence – a lab cum workshop set up in collaboration with MG. Aligning with MG’s flagship brand pillar; Diversity and Inclusion, the EV Certification course recognizes the urgent need for inclusion in the OEM sector and proposes 100% scholarships for promising female candidates.

MG is open to academic collaboration and has presented vehicles to various renowned institutions for the development of its students. MG also extended the nutrition program to support medical and engineering students returned from Ukraine.
While the RV College of Engineering in Bangalore is the first such partnership with MG for an EV course, later other top educational institutions have plans to launch similar certification programs across India.
