A mock poll will be held on Friday to check the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) ahead of the by-elections for Thrikkakara assembly constituency.
According to an official communication, it will be held at 9 am at Central Warehousing Corporation’s godown at Kuzhikkattumula, which should be attended by representatives of all political parties.
328 EVMs will be used for the by-elections. The preliminary examination of the machines was conducted under the guidance of six engineers from Bharat Electronics, Bengaluru. After the mock poll, the EVMs will be shifted to the strong room at the collectorate.
