Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi expresses regret after security breach in Prime Minister Modi’s convoy near Hussainiwala in Ferozepur on January 05. Punjab CM said, “I am sorry that PM Modi had to return during his visit to Ferozepur district.” He said, ‘We had asked the PMO to stop the tour due to the protest. We had no information about the sudden change of route of the Prime Minister. We offered a helicopter, but the convoy decided to continue on the route. There was no security lapse during PM’s visit,” claimed CM Channi.
