Ferrari arrived Charles Leclerc continued his horror show at his home track – Monaco – at the Monaco Historic GP, where he crashed Niki Lauda’s iconic Ferrari 312, which was first driven in 1974. Leclerc was on a performance run in the classic Ferrari 312B3, which was synonymous with one of the 3-time world champion cars.

Leclerc was coming to the end of his demo run when the rear end of the car flipped away upon entering the iconic La Rascasse corner and the car veered into obstacles. By modern F1 standards, the damage was not catastrophic, but given that this is machinery almost 50 years old, the cost of damage would be enormous. The rear wing of the car was destroyed which would be difficult to replace.

But this is not the first time this car has crashed. Former Ferrari driver Jean Alesi crashed the car in the same race last year. Leclerc took to social media to express his disappointment.
