SBI credit card is the first costly EMI transaction for the customers as the bank will levy processing fee 99. The company has sent an email to customers informing them of its decision to charge processing fees from December.
The letter read: Dear cardholder, we would like to inform you that with effect from 01st December 2021 the processing fee of Rs. 99+ applicable taxes will be levied on all Merchant EMI transactions done at the Merchant Outlet/Website/App. We thank you for your continued patronage. ICICI Bank revises fixed deposit rates
Private lender ICICI Bank has revised interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) from 7 days to 10 years. ICICI Bank offers interest rates ranging from 2.5% to 5.50% on deposits maturing in 7 days to 10 years. These rates are applicable from 16 November 2021.
PNB cuts interest rates on savings account
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has reduced the interest rate for the below balance on its savings account 10 lakh to 2.80% per annum. The bank has also cut interest rates on savings account for the above balance 10 lakh to 2.85%. The public sector bank has reduced the savings rate by 10 bps and 5 bps on accounts with less than Rs. 10 lakh and above 10 lakhs respectively.
The revised domestic and NRI savings account interest is applicable from today, December 1 for both existing and new customers.
EPF holders have to link their Aadhaar-UAN
The deadline for linking Aadhaar with Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) UAN has ended on November 30. If the account holders do not link their EPF UAN with Aadhaar, the employer may be unable to deposit the monthly EPF contribution in your EPF account. Also, withdrawals from your EPF account will be restricted until your UAN is confirmed and linked to your Aadhaar number.
