Vivek Mohit Yadav has declared himself innocent by releasing a video.

Mohit Yadav alias Monu Manesar, who has been evading arrest in connection with the murder of two people in Rajasthan, has become a prominent face in Haryana in the last five years, appearing in videos in the name of cow protection. Bajrang Dal member Monu (30) in a video message denied his involvement in the said murder and claimed that he was in a hotel at the time of the incident. She also shares pictures of the hotel on social media. He had joined the Bajrang Dal in his home district of Manesar as a co-convenor in 2011 and became a member of the district cow protector task force authorized by the authorities in December 2015 after Haryana’s cow vigilantism law came into effect.

He is now the executioner of Bajrang Dal and remains in controversy over the activities of his cow protection group. He shares videos of alleged cow smugglers chasing, catching them etc. However, Monu claims that he has been receiving death threats from suspected cow smugglers. The Haryana Police had last month registered two FIRs on his design. MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi alleged that the BJP government in the state was shielding such people.
Naseer (25) and Junaid Uri Juna (35), residents of Ghatmika village in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district, were allegedly abducted on Wednesday and their bodies were found in a burnt car at Loharu in Haryana’s Bhiwani on Thursday morning. A police official said Junaid has a criminal record of cattle smugglers and has five cases registered against him in different police stations. Inspector General of Police, Bharatpur range, Mr. Gauravvastava said, “The people named in the FIR are linked to the Bajrang Dal, but whether they were involved in the crime or not is yet to be ascertained.”
Monu was earlier named in a case of attempt to murder registered at Gurugram’s Pataudi police station on February 7. During the reservation, Monu Manesar issued a video message declaring himself innocent in the latest case. Monu said, “My colleagues and I have no role, but the Rajasthan Police has registered a case against me and my group members. I don’t know the dead people.’ He said, ‘At the time of the incident, I was in a hotel in Gurugram along with my team members. I am also sharing the CCTV footage of the hotel which will show that we were present in the hotel. The Bharatpur police have falsely implicated us and there is a conspiracy to defame my team and my organization.
