According to a white paper released by the CII Institute of Logistics, almost 90% of C-suite professionals in the industry are keen to explore Indian start-up solutions to address boardroom challenges.
Recently, CII conducted preliminary research interviewing 50 Indian start-ups and 50 C-suite professionals (C-suite usually refers to CEO, COO and CFO) to identify priorities and opportunities. The white paper assessed whether global service levels at Indian cost could be a reality.
According to the white paper, the boardroom challenges were mapped with the solutions being offered by the start-ups. The position has been taken as part of this initiative in terms of the current adoption level and willingness to explore Indian start-up solutions, a statement said.
It added that around 76% of Indian start-ups need support to connect with the industry and 65% need a platform for potential customers. The white paper further stated that cost optimization, process streamlining and automation were top priorities for the business. Deep learning, machine learning, predictive analytics, cloud computing, IoT will be the technology levers for cost optimization and process streamlining.
