According to the relatives, it is a case of suicide as the girl student was under stress due to not doing well in the examination.
A 16-year-old class 12 girl student was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her house in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district on Sunday. A police officer said that according to her family members, it is a case of suicide as the girl was depressed over not doing well in the ongoing examinations, the victim’s kin had counselled her.
“The girl was found hanging from the ceiling fan on Sunday when her family members returned from the farm at Tatam village, about 40 km from Chhatarpur district headquarters,” said assistant sub-inspector BS Thakur.
