Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, (MRPL) on Tuesday started door delivery of diesel through mobile dispensers in Mangaluru.

MRPL Director (Refineries) Sanjay Verma inaugurated the facility at a company owned and operated retail outlet in Panambur in the presence of Executive Director (Marketing & Projects) BHV Prasad, Group General Manager HC Satyanarayana and PEP Fuels Co-Founder Sandeep Thakur. inaugurated. ,

The company had entered into an agreement with M/s PEP Fuels, a start-up company promoted by ONGC, for door-to-door delivery of diesel in Mangaluru.

It is an app-based facility, wherein customers can download the ‘Pep Fuels’ application from the Google Play Store and start placing orders.

It is available in Mangaluru for customers/industries/large residential societies where diesel is consumed for their gensets or heavy stationery machinery/equipment and for a minimum quantity of 200 liters.

Customers can also set their requirements and accordingly the mobile dispenser will dispense fuel directly. The PEP fuel delivery is with IoT/RFID based technology, which minimizes theft and loss, a release said.

MRPL plans to expand this facility to other areas also with PEP fuel.
