Multi level puzzle parking facility open in South Delhi’s Adhchini village

In order to overcome the problem of parking and traffic in South Delhi’s Adhchini village, a multi-level puzzle parking was inaugurated in the area on Sunday. 56 cars can be kept in the parking lot.

The total area of ​​the parking facility is 467.83 square meters and a total of 56 vehicles can be parked at a time.

A puzzle parking is an automated system that enables horizontal and vertical movement of parking spaces, like a puzzle, to park and retrieve cars. This system is adopted in those places where less space is available.

The facility was inaugurated by Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi, Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta, SDMC Mayor Mukesh Suryan and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti.

SDMC commissioner Gyanesh Bharti said, “The average recovery time for each car would be 150 seconds while it takes around 15 minutes in a conventional parking lot.”

“The parking has two modules and each module has six levels. 31 cars can be parked in one module and 25 cars in the other module,” Bharti said in a statement.

SDMC Mayor Mukesh Suryan said, “Today (Sunday) it has dedicated automated multi-level puzzle car parking with a capacity to accommodate 56 vehicles at a time in Adhchini village. The move will help the parking users of both rural and urban areas.” facility will be available.” Statement.

Last year, SDMC inaugurated Delhi’s first fully automated tower stack parking facility near Green Park metro station. This facility can accommodate 156 cars.
