“Multi-talented” Nagaland minister Temjen Imna wins hearts again, this time with his dance moves

Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along needs no introduction now. He has been popular on social media ever since he made “small eyes” and cheeky comments on being single. Now, he is again winning hearts online as he posted a video of himself dancing during the Tsungremong festival.

“Look, I can dance too!” Sharing the clip on Twitter, he wrote. In the video, Mr. Imna can be seen participating in the festivities and joining the locals in a group dance. The minister wrote, “#Tsungremong- The festival of Ao Nagas is celebrated to bless them with a bountiful harvest. A rich heritage was zealously preserved and passed on to the younger generations.”

Shri Inma is the Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs of Nagaland and the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sharing the video of the dance, he also invited people to come to explore the culture and dance of Nagaland. “Visit to explore the culture of Nagaland and dance with the locals,” concluded Mr. Inma.

The video has won the hearts of many internet users ever since it was shared. It has been viewed over 95,000 times and garnered over 11,000 likes. While some users called Mr Inma a “multi-talented personality”, others simply wrote that he is “maintaining happiness and single status… bravo!”

One user said, “With ji you are our (India’s) treasure…” Another wrote, “Very beautiful, I admire your humility and your sense of humour.” A third called him a “rockstar”, while a fourth called him “one of the best ministers we see.”

Mr Inma is truly an internet sensation. Last month too, he won over Twitter with his witty comment on Google’s concern about his wife. He shared a picture of the most asked question on Google about himself and among the many queries, a search that was highlighted by him was, “Temjen Imna Along with Wife.”

Responding to this, the Nagaland minister wrote, “Ayali, @Google Search excites me. I’m still looking for her!” In the same month, on World Population Day, Mr. Inma also urged social media users to Join their movement and “be alone” Like him
