Mumbai City FC celebrates unique water education festival

To create awareness among children about the importance of clean drinking water and safe hand washing practices, Indian Super League (ISL) club Mumbai City FC celebrated the unique football based water education festival at Neville D’Souza Football Ground in Bandra.

Around 120 children participated in the Grassroots Football Utsav, where they displayed their skills, talent and love for the sport while learning the importance of clean water and sanitation. He also got an opportunity to interact and learn from Mumbai City FC stars Rahul Bheke, Amey Ranade and Rainier Fernandes, who were part of the event.

The water awareness program was organized by Mumbai City FC in association with its official water technology partner Xylem.

We want to see positive and lasting change in our community, and one way to do that is to inculcate core values ​​from the very beginning. This unique football based water education festival is an effort by Mumbai City FC and Xylem to encourage the game of football at an early age along with educating young children on the importance of clean drinking water and safe hand washing practices.
