Mumbai Police appoints ACP level officer to probe allegations against Wankhede

Mumbai Police has appointed ACP-level officer Milind Khetale to probe the allegations against NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede.

All complaints received against Wankhede will be investigated by Khetale. Sources said that four police stations in Mumbai have received such complaints so far.

However, the Mumbai Police has not registered any case against Wankhede.

Kiran Gosavi’s personal bodyguard and Mumbai cruise ship raid witness Prabhakar Cell had alleged that the demand was made by Wankhede, Gosavi and some other NCB officials. 25 lakhs from Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for releasing his son Aryan Khan in drug bust case.

However, the Mumbai Police did not say what complaints they have received against Wankhede.
