Mumbai: Security personnel trying to rescue people trapped in a burning skyscraper dies after falling from the 19th floor!

Mumbai fire news: As soon as Arun Tiwari got a call from the residents of the 64-storey building that there was a fire in the high rise, he rushed to the 19th floor to help the trapped people. By the time Tiwari, who worked as a security guard, arrived, the 19-20th floor of the building was on fire. Tiwari himself was trapped amidst the fire all around.

In a desperate attempt to escape and save his life, Arun Tiwari climbed onto one of the balconies. Horrifying television images showed a man dangling from a 19th-floor apartment. Moments later, he lost his grip and fell to the ground.

The rescue team took him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

panic among residents

A fire broke out in the Avigna Park building on Curry Road around noon, as thick clouds of smoke dissipated, forcing residents to evacuate safely.

At least 15 fire tenders reached the spot and brought the fire under control to prevent it from spreading to other floors.

Most of the residents, including several senior citizens and children, managed to evacuate themselves.

Residents said that the cause of the fire, which is believed to be a temporary short-circuit, is under investigation and all fire safety measures have been taken in the building.
