“Must-Watch”: Karnataka CM Says At Film Screening

Basavaraj Bommai was seen in the images wiping his tears, also recommends it as a must-watch.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai broke down during the screening of the film “777 Charlie” yesterday. Mr Bommai said the film reminded him of his dog Snooby, who died last year, weeks before he took over as chief minister.

The Kannada film 777 Charlie, which released on June 10, depicts the bond between a man and his pet dog Charlie. It has gathered thousands of fans since its release.

The Chief Minister, who is seen wiping tears in the pictures, also advises to see it.

“There are movies made about dogs but this film shows animals with emotions. The dog expresses his feelings through his eyes. The film is good, and everyone should see it. I am about unconditional love.” I keep talking. A dog’s love is unconditional love, which is pure,” Mr. Bommai told reporters.

Pictures of the Chief Minister crying during the screening were also shared on social media, along with pictures of him crying after the death of his dog Snobby. In the pictures, he is seen hugging and kissing his pet’s body.

He died in July last year before taking over as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, replacing Mr Bommai’s pet BS Yediyurappa.

He has shed tears in memory more than once. A few months after Snooby’s death, he broke down during an interview when funeral scenes were shown.

Police in Mangalore, Karnataka recently named their latest sniffer dog Charlie, after watching a film starring Rakshit Shetty. The police also organized a special ceremony for the dog.

The film has been released in five languages ​​including Hindi.
