MVA Govt. Facing criticism over disorder in medical examination

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra and state Health Minister Rajesh Tope have come under attack from student bodies and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party after a second consecutive chaos in the health department’s medical recruitment exam held on Sunday.

Angry students alleged confusion over hall tickets, while question papers were delivered late at some exam centers in Pune and Nashik. At an examination center in Mumbai’s Andheri area, some students alleged that the exam papers were given an hour before and the paper was ‘leaked’. At many centres, students complained that invigilators arrived after the 10 am timings.

talking to HinduKuldeep Ambekar, president of Student Helping Hand, said that the government is behaving very insensitively.

He said that after the chaos, the students had completely lost faith in the government and now they are worried about the conduct of the MPSC exam to be held on January 2 next year.

Holding Mr Tope responsible for Sunday’s confusion, senior BJP leader Madhav Bhandari demanded his resignation.
