Speaking exclusively with Irfan Pathan on Star Play In the show ‘Follow the Blues’, Arshdeep Singh talked about preparing himself for big tournaments like the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, he said, “My focus was always on consistency. You loose too much at the international level. Can’t afford to deliver balls. I want to be good with the new ball and bowling with the old ball. I want to take wickets as per the requirement or control the runs. Arshdeep further said, ‘Paras Mhambrey worked with me on my run up. Trying to come straight and see results but I hope to do better.
Arshdeep also spoke about how he is adapting himself to the conditions in Australia and how he is trying to manage his length, adding, “The whole team prepared well for the World Cup. We arrived in Perth about a week ago and worked on our lengths as everyone had different lengths. So while practicing we were able to find out the length with the bounce. I think good preparation gives us good results.
