Krishna Mukherjee, known for roles in popular television shows like Naagin and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, exchanged rings with her longtime boyfriend Chirag Batliwala in an intimate ceremony. On Thursday, the couple got engaged in Manali in the presence of their family and close friends. With several celebrities from the tinsel town including Shireen Mirza, Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin attended their ceremony, the couple looked like a match made in heaven as pictures from their first ceremony surfaced online. They were seen twinning in a white outfit which was inspired by a white-wedding theme.
Ellie took to Instagram and shared a picture with the couple ft Jasmin Bhasin. He wrote, “I had tears in my eyes because I know how much you wanted in my life with this outfit on this day and I am so happy because you have found the best guy in your life and what an amazing person you guys are. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress and Krishna’s close friend Shireen took to her Instagram to share several pictures and videos of the special day. In a picture, Krishna is seen in a white cloak getting ready with her friends. He also shared group photos of the actor’s friends.
After the engagement, Krishna will tie the knot next year. Talking about their relationship, she earlier told ETimes, “We met through mutual friends in December last year and clicked instantly. He is not a part of this industry; He is in Merchant Navy. I met him for the first time when he was in his uniform and was immediately attracted to him. He is not used to my profession, so I am not sharing his name as he is a private person.

“I’ve never found a person who loves me so much, cares for me and does little things that I really love. He makes me feel so special with his little gestures and I’m just in my heart.” So much knew that he was the one for me. It was the same for him, which is why we decided to take things forward and get engaged. I am so happy and excited. But we are not planning to get married this year. We will tie the knot in 2023.”
