BJP national president JP Nadda on Friday accused the Left government in Kerala of “encouraging Islamic terrorism”, claiming that the southern state has become a “breeding hub” under its rule. Addressing a rally organized by the saffron party here, the BJP chief alleged that the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) government always gives the impression that they treat every section of the society equally but their policy is ” Pseudo-secularism” – treating one section of society exclusively and attempting to divide other classes.

“It (LDF government) looks neutral but here I would like to say that it is promoting Islamic terrorism. Islamic terrorism is getting patronage from the CPI(M) government and Kerala has become a breeding ground for Islamic terrorism. We have to understand this.” He alleged that the religious community, especially the Christians of Kerala, were worried about the demographic change taking place in the southern state.

“I would also like to share with you that the society of Kerala is in trouble at large. The society in Kerala is largely uneasy and disturbed due to the rapid demographic changes. And religious leaders of the Christian community in particular have been raising such issues time and again. in. There are also concerns of narcotic jihad. It has also been raised by the Christian community and religious leaders,” alleged Nadda.
