Naked Crepe, Dunked Donut and more: US Eatery’s South Indian menu is getting Twitter talking

The people at the restaurant are super creative with their food menu. From the design to the names of the dishes, they try to make it creative. In fact, they are in constant struggle to be in the limelight in many unique ways. And the best part is that we get to see all this on the internet. Amidst all this, we came across a few initiatives that grabbed our attention and started a conversation on social media. Take, for example, this recent Twitter post. A Twitter user named ‘Inika’ shared a post which has a screenshot of a menu card of a restaurant. It looked like it was a US-based restaurant serving South Indian cuisine; But what made us face our faces are the names of the dishes. Imagine what a simple sambar-vada is called?! No points for guessing – it’s Dunked Donut Delight. You heard us

According to the Twitter post, idli-sambri It is called ‘Dunked Rice Cake Delight’ and Plain Dosa is called ‘Naked Crepe’. See full post here:

Can’t believe my eyes; Correct? Like us, not many people on Twitter could do the same. And in no time, the post went viral, and people started reacting to the names with witty, witty and even disapproving comments.

“Unholy! When we are calling pizza to pizza everywhere in the world! Why not dosa?!” Wrote one. Another person commented, “Why can’t they use the original names? Other things can be given in explanation. Sushi is everywhere called sushi and not ‘raw boneless fish pieces wrapped in celery’.” The third comment read, “Had Medu Vada been concerned, they would have sued her by now.”
