Along with Nandini, the country got new beauty queens of the year, with Shreya Poonja from Delhi as the first runner-up and Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur as the second runner-up.
On Sunday, the official Instagram handle of Femina Miss India congratulated the winners of the star-studded Femina Miss India 2023 with a caption that read, “CONGRATULATION S. All these women have a powerful voice and we are sure they will are going to use this platform to advance all the important causes they believe in.”
He added, “We have seen the passion with which they have worked for these positions and we must say that no one is more qualified! Congratulations, ladies – it is time to celebrate.

The evening began with a scintillating display of exquisite and finely crafted lehengas by Mohe – former winners of the contest, Sini Shetty, Ruble Shekhawat, Shinata Chauhan, Manasa Varanasi, Manika Shyokand, Manya Singh, Suman Rao and Shivani Jadhav.
Moving forward in the show, the audience was treated to much-awaited performances by Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. The proceedings of the evening were led by Maniesh Paul and Bhumi Pednekar who kept the audience hooked with their wit and improvisation.
The gala event witnessed several rounds of scintillating fashion sequences that featured beautiful winners from 30 states showcasing traditional wear by Namrata Joshipura, Rocky Star and Robert Naorem for trends. The state winners were judged by an elite panel comprising Femina Miss India Universe 2002 and mentor Neha Dhupia, boxing icon Laishram Sarita Devi, renowned choreographer Terence Lewis, film director and writer Harshvardhan Kulkarni and eminent designers Rocky Star and Namrata Joshipura. The state winners interacted with the jury panel and answered their questions with great confidence.
The showpiece competition culminated in a coronation ceremony, in which the outgoing queens crowned the new winners. Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan was crowned Femina Miss India World 2023, who will represent India at the Miss World pageant. (ANI)
