Narmada got 1.5 liters of cusec dam water, villagers transferred Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara/Narmada : Residents of adjoining villages Narmada river in Curzon, dabhoi And Shinor Talukaso On Sunday, they were asked to move to safer places as the water level in the river rose.
This step has been taken after 1.5 lakh cusecs of water was released Narmada Dam on Sunday evening.
Officials said that water is continuously coming into the dam and hence, some gates have been opened in the last two days. The water level of Narmada dam has reached 135.11 meters, which is just 2.57 meters below the danger mark.
In the last 26 days, six units of 200 MW capacity have been working round the clock in the riverbed house of the dam.
They are generating 20 million units of electricity worth Rs 4 crore per day. Four canal head power houses of 50 MW are generating 48 lakh units of electricity worth Rs.98 lakh.
