Maharashtra Shaheer will hit the theaters on April 28.
The Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha song was unveiled on 25 April by Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre.
Marathi audiences are eagerly awaiting the release of Maharashtra Shaheer, the much-awaited biographical film based on the life of late renowned folk artist Krishnarao Ganpatrao Sable aka Shaheer Sable. Apart from the teaser, the music of the film has become the talk of the tinsel town. The song from the film which has received immense love from the audience is Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha. The song was unveiled by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar at the Yashwantrao Chavan Center on 25 April.
The most important thing about this number is that 18 famous artists from Maharashtra have participated in this song. These artists are Siddharth Jadhav, Suyash Tilak, Abhijeet Khandkekar, Adinath Kothare and Gashmir Mahajani. Sachin Khedekar, Bharat Jadhav, Pushkar Jog, Prathamesh Parab and Nagraj Manjule have also worked on the video of the song. Akash Thosar, Siddharth Chandekar, Umesh Kamat, Prasad Oak and Lalit Prabhakar have also worked on this song. Apart from him, actors Aadesh Bandekar, Shiv Thackeray and Swapnil Joshi also participated in the video. Ajay-Atul recreated the original version curated by Srinivas Khale. Raja Badhe has penned the lyrics while Ajay Gogavale has sung this number.
Kedar Shinde, director of Maharashtra Shaheer, producer Sanjay Chhabria, Bela Shinde and music director duo Ajay Atul were present at the song launch event. The cast of the film Ankush Chowdhary, Sana Kedar Shinde, Ashwini Mahangde, Shubhangi Sadavarte and others were also present.
The audience, especially those belonging to Maharashtra appreciated the song. A user commented that this song belongs to the people living in Maharashtra. Another remarked that the Marathi film industry has taught people to pay tribute and respect veterans. Users who do not understand Marathi have also praised this number. Among the 18 artists, Shiv Thackeray was the only one who managed to steal the limelight. Fans were happy that he got a chance to be a part of Maharashtra Shaheer. They wanted Thackeray to be able to play a key role in many more such important projects and to buy his own house in Mumbai.
