medical advisory committee (MCC) has withdrawn the provisional results of stray vacancy round National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) Counselling, 2021, due to offline admission of candidates by some colleges.
“It was brought to the notice of the MCC of DGHS after the publication of the provisional result of vagrant vacancy round that some colleges had taken offline admission of the candidates allotted to them or resumed the admission of the candidates who made their admission ‘nil and void’. Had done it. , As a result, candidates were being shown as ‘Not Reported’ in the Mop Up Round and their seats were returned to the system for allotment in the Stray Vacancy Round of PG Counseling 2021,” reads the MCC notification. It said, “In order to rectify the problem caused due to the error of the institutes, the provisional result of PG counseling 2021 is being withdrawn.”
On 30 April, MCC had issued a notice regarding making all admissions online in medical colleges. “All colleges or institutions are advised to ensure that the admissions of the candidates allotted to their respective colleges are done ‘online’ (on the IntraMCC portal) and the admit cards are generated through the IntraMCC portal.” It said, “Admissions which are taken in offline mode and admit cards not generated through IntraMCC portal will be treated as ‘nil and void’. The candidates should also ensure that the admit cards provided to the colleges by the MCC Their admit cards are generated online through the portal.
MCC will again process the seats for vagabond vacancy round after removing the seats reported offline, and a new provisional allotment result will be announced. The final result of Stray vacancy round will be published on May 2. The reporting deadline for this round has been extended till 5 PM on May 7.
