NEET UG 2023 Today, Check Documents to Carry, Important Exam Guidelines

NEET UG 2023: Candidates can download their admit card from neet.nta.nic.in, they also need to follow the below mentioned guidelines on the day of exam

National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the exam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2023 today, May 7th. It will be conducted in pen and paper mode for a duration of three hours 20 minutes. The timing of the medical entrance exam is from 2 PM to 5:20 PM. Candidates have to attempt a total of 180 questions for 720 marks. This year, more than 20 lakh students are expected to appear in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

Recent NTA NEET UG 2023 Admit Card released, Candidates can download their admit card from the official website neet.nta.nic.in after entering their application number and date of birth (DOB). NEET UG 2023 hall ticket also includes a self-declaration form, which has to be filled by the candidate, signed and submitted as well. Students have to follow some guidelines on the day of examination.

NEET UG 2023: Exam day instructions

  1. All the appearing candidates must carry their admit card to the exam center along with a valid ID proof.
  2. If a candidate forgets to bring his/her admit card on the day of examination, he/she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
  3. It is to be noted that a passport size photograph should be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  4. Students are advised to reach the examination center on or before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.
  5. Candidates are requested to follow the prescribed dress code. Light long sleeved clothes are not allowed inside the examination hall. But those who come in a cultural or customary dress on the day of examination are advised to report at least one hour before the last reporting time which is 12:30 PM.
  6. Slippers and sandals with low heels are allowed. However, shoes are not allowed and any kind of jewelery or metal articles are also not allowed inside the examination hall.
  7. Candidates are not allowed to carry any text material, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, geometry/pencil box, writing pad, pen drive, eraser, calculator, log table, or electronic pen etc. inside the examination hall.
  8. All students must go through a metal detector frisking process.

NEET UG 2023 exam is being conducted in 13 languages ​​English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP).

The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on four subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. In addition, no marks will be awarded for all unanswered or unanswered questions.
