NEET UG Counseling 2021: MCC issues notice for NRI conversion in second round

New Delhi : The Medical Consultative Committee (MCC) on Thursday issued a notice to the candidates to change their Event From Indian resident to Non-resident Indian (NRI).

The notice has come for the second round of NEET UG counseling 2021.

Candidates willing to change their status from Indian to NRI must submit their application along with supporting documents to nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com between 11 February 10 AM to 13 February 6 PM.

The claim of NRI status has to be complied with by the directions/orders of the Supreme Court of India in the matter (WP © No. 689/2017- Association of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ors. Vs. Union of India and others.

Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website www.mcc.nic.in for updated information.

“Mails received before / after the stipulated time will not be considered. Candidates are advised to send all the documents to attach Only in one mail, within the stipulated time,” a statement from the MCC said.

Candidates should also note that once the category is changed, the applicant will be treated as NRI in all the remaining rounds of NEET counseling and will not be able to avail benefits under Muslim minority quota/Jain minority quota or any other quota .

– Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (passport, visa)

Relationship of NRI with candidate as per court order

Affidavit from the sponsor that he will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized

-The sponsor’s embassy certificate (certificate from the consulate).

NEET candidate’s score card.

An undertaking is also attached to the notice which is to be duly filled by the candidate and sent along with all other documents.

Undertaking says they are applying for NEET UG counseling 2021 for change from Indian to NRI category And They have cleared the NEET-UG exam, 2021 and are eligible for MCC NEET counselling.
