NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday announced the results of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medical courses across the country.

According to NTA, Mrinal Kuteri from Telangana, Tanmay Gupta from Delhi and Karthika G Nair from Maharashtra have topped the NEET-UG exam 2021. For these three students sharing the top rank, the tie-breaking formula will be implemented at the counseling stage.

Fifteen candidates were identified using unfair means during the examination and their result has been cancelled, the official said. Candidates, who have appeared in the exam, can now check their result on the official portal of NTA NEET – neet.nta.nic.in.

As the result of NEET UG 2021 has been released on the official website, candidates can check their NEET result from the website by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.

Last week, the Supreme Court allowed the National Testing Agency to declare the National Eligibility Entrance Test results.

NTA had released the answer key of NEET on October 15. The last date to raise objections to the NEET answer key was October 17, 2021.

NTA will conduct NEET 2021 on September 12 in pen and paper mode in 13 languages ​​with Uniform Admission for Admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses approved/recognized in Medical/Dental/AYUSH. The exam was conducted at 3,682 centers in 202 cities, which included 9,548 center superintendents/deputy superintendents, 5,615 invigilators, 2,69,378 invigilators and 220 city coordinators, the agency said in a statement. As per the 2021 registration data accessed by TOI, there has been a significant increase in the number of registrations for NEET 2021 in the last five years, from 11.4 lakh in 2017 to 16.1 lakh in 2021.

How to Download NTA NEET 2021 Result?

1) Visit the official website of NEET – neet.nta.nic.in

2) Two links are given on the page, click on any link – “View Result (Server I) or View Result (Serer II)”, a new page will appear on your screen.

3) Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin as given on the candidate login window page.

4) NEET result will be displayed on the screen in the form of scorecard.

5) Download NEET 2021 result and save it for future reference
