Japan’s Consul General in Kolkata Nakamura Yutaka receives the honor on behalf of Mr. Abeo
Former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe was awarded the Netaji Award 2022 by the Netaji Research Bureau on 23 January.
The Consul General of Japan in Kolkata, Nakamura Yutaka received the honor on behalf of Mr. Abe at a function on the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at his residence on Elgin Road.
Japanese Ambassador to India Satoshi Suzuki addressed the event virtually from New Delhi.
Sugata Bose, the great freedom fighter and the director of the Netaji Research Bureau, described Mr. Abe as a great admirer of Netaji.
