Netflix ends ‘Resident Evil’ series after one season

domestic wickedThe Netflix action horror series based on the popular video game franchise will not be returning for a second season. The development comes a month and a half after the show premiered on July 14.

According to time limitThe decision to pull the plug on the series wasn’t bolted out of the blue because it didn’t have a particularly impressive showing on the streamer’s top 10 trending list.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2036, domestic wicked Jade Wesker (played by Ella Balinska), who fights for survival in a world dominated by blood-thirsty infected and paranoid creatures. He is haunted by his past in New Raccoon City, by his father’s chilling relationship with the Umbrella Corporation, but mostly by what happened to his sister Billy.

Lance Reddick, Tamara Smart, Sienna Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Nez along with additional cast members Ahad Raza Mir, Conor Gosatti and Turlo Convery also starred on the show.

Showrunner Andrew Dube executive produced and wrote domestic wicked With Mary Leah Sutton. Robert Culzer and Oliver Berben of Constantin Film also served as executive producers on the series.
