New Tata Nexon EV Max teaser hints at a real-world range of over 300km, India launch soon – Times of India

Bye Motors recently confirmed that the launch is going to happen soon. Nexon EV will be known as Nexon EV Max In a teaser video. Now, the domestic manufacturer has released another teaser video, but this time, the company has indicated Electric SUVof the real world limit.
The teaser video uploaded by Tata Motors to YouTube shows some popular city-by-city highway routes across the country including Mumbai to Pune, Delhi to Kurukshetra, Bengaluru to Mysore, Chennai to Puducherry, Ranchi to Dhanbad and Gandhinagar to Vadodara .
In fact, all of these round trip (to and out) are about 300 km away, which indicates that the Nexon EV The real world range of MAX would be around that. Tata has confirmed that the long-range Nexon EV will be able to manage these routes on a single charge. This means that the car can actually have an ARAI-claimed range of around 400 km.

At the end of the video, a silhouette of the Nexon EV MAX is also showcased, confirming that the long-range version of the electric SUV will not see any major design changes. Tata is all set to unveil the Nexon EV Max in India on May 11, 2022. Select dealerships have started accepting unofficial bookings for the new car.
The previous teaser video had revealed that the long-range Nexon EV will get new five-spoke alloy wheels, while it is also likely to get a rear disc brake. The electric SUV will be offered with a bigger battery than the standard Nexon EV’s 30.2kWh pack. In addition to this, the Max variant will also get a more powerful electric motor, producing 136 PS of power, 7 PS more than the standard model currently on sale.
Talking about the price, Tata Nexon EV MAX can be launched for around Rs 18 lakh. In contrast, the regular Nexon EV is priced from Rs 14.79 lakh to Rs 17.40 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Like the standard variant, the Nexon EV Max will have no rivals in the Indian market upon arrival.
