New Zealand vs South Africa, 1st Test Live Updates:New Zealand will take on South Africa in the first match of the two-match Test series starting on Thursday at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The Kiwis will not have regular captain Kane Williamson as vice-captain Tom Latham will lead the side in his absence. The Blackcaps will also miss the services of Ross Taylor after the veteran batsman announced his retirement earlier this year. The hosts were kept by Bangladesh in their last Test assignment as the two-match series ended 1-1.
