Harjot Singh, an Indian student who sustained multiple bullet injuries in war-torn Ukraine in Kyiv on March 04, said he had not received any support from the Indian embassy yet. “No support yet from the Indian Embassy. I am trying to contact them, every day they say we will do something but no help has been received so far,” said Harjot Singh. “This is the incident of February 27. We were 3 people in a cab on our way to the 3rd checkpoint where we were asked to return due to security reasons. While coming back, several bullets were fired at our car, which hit me with multiple bullets,” he said. “It doesn’t matter if you send charter (aircraft) after death. God has given me a second life. I want to live it I request the embassy to evacuate me from here, provide me facilities like wheelchair, help me with documents,” he added.
