“No team player”: Woman embarrassed the manager to refuse to work on day holiday, sparks of debate

The redit post of a 22-year-old retail employee has been posted by his manager about the crime-fault for not covering his day’s innings, promoting dialogue around the toxic workplace culture and employee boundaries.

The viral post shared by the user ‘Eliswilso’ explained how his manager tried to embarrass him not to come on his day holiday, despite the recent sorting that had reduced the store’s workforce significantly. The incident at a small clothing shop in the shopping mall has attained more than 22,000 apavotes in just four days.

After corporate trim, with only three employees, the pressure to take additional changes has intensified. He wrote, “I was determined on Thursday – first in a week. I had a doctor appointed, and planned to sleep,” he wrote.

But at 8 o’clock that morning, he received a message from his manager, stating that the shop was “slammed.” He refused, citing prior commitments. The manager did not reply – but later posted an Instagram story in which read, “some people only care about themselves,” the employee who felt that he was a passive -exclusive excavation that aimed to be aimed at.

When she returned to work the next day, the manager confronted her, questioned her credibility and said that “the real team players move on to be difficult.”

The calm reaction of the employee yet won the applause online: “Sorry, but I have been paid $ 15 per hour. I do not get the benefit, I am not paid time, and you expel half the team. You don’t get to commit crime in uninterrupted loyalty.”
